E-visa
Unified Electronic Visas (Starting from August 01, 2023)
Consulate General informs that according to the decision of the President of the Russian Federation starting from August 01, 2023 new system of Unified Electronic Visas (E-Visas) to Russia will be launched.
New Electronic Visa will be issued to the citizens of 64 countries and will let them visit the Russian Federation during 60 days from its issuance with duration of stay in the Russian Federation up to 16 days. Foreign citizens can enter Russia by air, sea and land using this kind of visa.
IMPORTANT NOTICE! You do not have to attend Consulate in order to apply for Unified Electronic Visa. You can get it only online.
Unified Electronic Visa is issued on the basis of a foreign citizen's application filled in electronically on the specialized website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru/ or through a mobile application available for download on the specified website.
An application for E-Visa must be submitted no later than 4 calendar days before the expected date of entry into the Russian Federation. A digital photograph of the face and a scan of the page with the data of the machine-readable passport of a foreign citizen are attached to the application. No other documents are required to obtain a single e-visa.
Unified Electronic Visa allows a foreign citizen to enter the Russian Federation once and stay in the Russian Federation on a guest or business visit, as a tourist, as well as to participate in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, sports events and make relevant connections and contacts.
